Wish I could go back home. I hate being cooped up in the castle with mum and dad every-fucking-body here. Babysitting Morag. Sleeping a lot. I'm just waiting to lose my head.
I don't want any more people saying they're sorry for to me. It's not like I knew her as well as most everyone else seems to. I didn't get a chance to. I barely even know my own fucking family. I don't even want to be around them. And now there's all this other fucking shite going on, and I don't know what I'm supposed to fucking do about it.
Feel useless.
FUCK.
[Warded to Aunt Gwen:]
Up to anything?

[Warded to Dorcas:]
Hey, you've never met my sister, have you?
And yeah, I know you're probably round the castle somewhere and if I put my mind to it I could find you, but... thing is I'm really really lazy.

You've no plans to get off with Dorcas, right? [Warded to Dorcas:]
I know you've probably got work tonight, but before the moon goes up I've got this dinner for some friends of mine to go to. Can't promise it'll be that exciting, seeing as how no one's got the time to get pissed, but you're welcome to come along if you want something to eat someplace probably pretty alright.

[Warded to MacDougals]
Alright.
I need a distraction so I don't do something stupid like go off on Effie's sister for being such a furious harpy, because I'm well aware coming between two sisters is pretty much on par with buying a one-way ticket to Castration Station and I'd really rather avoid being mangled.
Is anyone up to anything interesting? Don't make me have to visit my parents.

I have a sister. She's a day old and she looks like a shriveled old man. Figure that one.

In the grand scheme of things, how important are middle names? Really. For those of us who aren't getting our full names called out when we enter a ballroom, does it matter? Seems like the only time a full name's getting any use is when one's in trouble, and what better way to lessen the gravity of that sorta situation than by giving a child a middle name we can all enjoy?
Though if anyone's got a real terrible one, I'd love to hear it.
In other news: new broom. A new broom would be nice.
[Warded to MacDougals, minus parents] I think we're all agreed on what its first name should be -- Dragon -- being gender neutral, unique, and I'd say rather character building, but on the off chance it doesn't take, I think I should at least be able to give the wee basta the kid a middle name of my choosing. I promise to treat this task with all responsibility and proper decorum. It'll be like my Christmas gift to Ian and mum.
